Buy it if: You own an LG QNED TV and want a soundbar that integrates well, or if clear dialogue from the center up-firing speaker is a top priority for you. The 400W output is decent for most living rooms.
Skip it if: You are looking for a soundbar with a separate, wireless subwoofer or rear speakers for a true surround sound experience, or if you don't have an LG TV and won't benefit from features like WOW Orchestra.

This LG S70TY soundbar is a 400W 3.1.1 channel system, meaning it has three front-firing channels (left, right, center), a subwoofer for bass, and an additional up-firing speaker. The 'up-firing center channel' is a key feature here, designed specifically to make dialogue clearer, which is really helpful for movies and TV shows where conversations can sometimes get lost in background effects. It supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, which are important for getting that immersive, three-dimensional sound experience.
The soundbar itself is black and has dimensions of 11.4 x 95.0 x 6.3 cm, making it relatively slim and wide, suitable for sitting under most TVs without blocking the screen. It weighs 8.7 kg, so it feels substantial. For connectivity, you get HDMI, USB, and Bluetooth, covering most modern devices. It was first released in 2024, so it's a relatively new model, and it comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty, which is standard for electronics.
Is today's price of Rs.21,490 a good deal?
Let's talk about the price. The LG S70TY is listed today at Rs.21,490, which is 39% below its MRP of Rs.34,990. We've been tracking this product since 2026-08-02, and during this time, its price has changed 4 times. The highest price we saw was Rs.24,829, and the average price has been Rs.22,824. The current price of Rs.21,490 matches the lowest price we recorded, which was on 2026-10-21. This means you are getting it at the best price we've seen in our tracking history.
Given that it's at its lowest tracked price and significantly below MRP, this is a strong offer right now. If you've been eyeing this particular soundbar, today might be a good time to consider buying. However, prices on Amazon India can fluctuate, so if you're not in an urgent rush, you could always keep an eye on it for a few more days, but there's no guarantee it will go lower.
Who is this LG S70TY soundbar for?
This LG S70TY soundbar is a great fit for someone who already owns an LG QNED TV. The product description specifically mentions its smaller width and depth allow it to nest perfectly under a stand-mounted QNED TV, and it's compatible with the LG QNED Synergy Bracket for wall mounting. The 'WOW Orchestra' feature, which lets the soundbar and LG TV speakers work together using one remote, is also a big plus for LG TV users, providing a more integrated audio experience.
If you prioritize clear dialogue in your movies and shows, the dedicated Center Up-Firing Speaker is a significant advantage. This feature is designed to make voices stand out, which is excellent for those late-night viewing sessions when you don't want to crank up the volume too high but still want to hear every word. It's also suitable for someone looking for an upgrade from their TV's built-in speakers, offering 400W of power and Dolby Atmos without the complexity of a full home theater setup with many speakers.
However, if you're not an LG TV owner, some of its unique integration features like 'WOW Orchestra' and QNED matching won't be as beneficial for you. Also, if you're an audiophile looking for a true 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system with dedicated rear channels, this 3.1.1 setup might not provide the full immersive experience you're after. For smaller rooms or those with limited space, its 95 cm length might also be a consideration.
Are there other options?
Currently, among the alternatives listed on Deal Hunter, the only other product is the Redmi Pad 2 Wi-Fi Cellular Smart Pen 1S. This is a tablet, which is a completely different product category from a soundbar. Therefore, it's not a direct alternative for someone looking to enhance their TV audio. If you are specifically looking for a soundbar, you would need to compare the LG S70TY with other soundbars in a similar price range and feature set from brands like Samsung, Sony, or JBL, which are not listed here as alternatives.
Things to check before you buy
- TV Compatibility: While it works with any TV, check if you have an LG QNED TV to fully utilize features like 'QNED Matching' and 'WOW Orchestra'.
- Room Size: Consider if 400W output is sufficient for your living room. For very large halls, you might want to look at higher wattage systems or those with additional speakers.
- Physical Space: Measure the space under your TV or on your wall to ensure the 95 cm length and 6.3 cm height fit comfortably without obstructing the screen or IR sensor.
- User Reviews: Since we haven't personally tested it, look for recent buyer reviews on Amazon India to get insights into real-world sound quality, ease of setup, and any common issues.
- Return Policy: Double-check Amazon's return policy for electronics before purchasing, just in case it doesn't meet your expectations.
Is this the right soundbar for your living room?
The LG S70TY is a strong contender if you're an LG QNED TV owner looking for an integrated audio solution that improves dialogue clarity and offers Dolby Atmos. Its current price of Rs.21,490 is the lowest we've tracked, making it an attractive deal for its feature set.
While it delivers on specific promises like clear voices and easy integration with LG TVs, remember to assess if its 3.1.1 channel setup meets your expectations for immersive sound. For many, it will be a significant upgrade over standard TV speakers, providing a more cinematic experience for movies and shows.
