If you're looking for a new kitchen chimney, the Elica 60cm 1500 m3/hr Filterless Autoclean Kitchen Chimney is currently available on Amazon India for Rs.12,499. This model, the FLAT FL 600 HAC LTW MS NERO, comes in black and offers a strong suction power suitable for most Indian kitchens. Today, 23 October 2026, the price is fair, sitting just above its lowest point since we started tracking it in July.

What you actually get with this Elica Chimney

Here’s a quick look at the key specifications of this Elica chimney:

This Elica chimney is designed for Indian kitchens, especially with its 1500 m3/hr suction power. For cooking curries, frying, and tempering that generates a lot of smoke and oil, this high suction rating is important. A 60cm size is standard and suitable for most 2 to 4 burner stoves you find in average Indian homes.

The filterless design is a big plus for daily Indian cooking. Filters can get clogged quickly with oil and grease, requiring frequent cleaning. With a filterless chimney and auto-clean feature, you get an oil collection tray which makes maintenance much simpler. The touch control and motion sensor are modern conveniences, allowing you to operate it without touching the panel, which is handy when your hands are busy or greasy.

Who this Elica chimney suits and who should look elsewhere

This Elica chimney is a strong contender if you have a medium-sized kitchen and regularly cook for a family of 3-5 people, especially if your cooking involves a lot of frying, grilling, or spice-heavy dishes. The 60cm size is ideal for a standard 2-4 burner gas stove, and the 1500 m3/hr suction power will effectively remove smoke and odours.

The filterless design with auto-clean is perfect for those who want minimal maintenance and don't want the hassle of cleaning mesh filters frequently. The 15-year warranty on the motor and 5-year comprehensive warranty are also excellent, offering peace of mind for long-term use.

However, if your kitchen is very small, or you only cook occasionally and lightly, a chimney with lower suction power might be sufficient and potentially more budget-friendly. Also, if you are someone who prefers physical buttons over touch and motion sensors, this model might not be for you. If a quiet kitchen is your absolute top priority, while 58 dB is decent, you might want to check recent user reviews for real-world noise experiences.

What to compare it against

When looking at alternatives, you'll want to compare other 60cm, wall-mounted, T-shape chimneys. Focus on models with similar suction power – 1500 m3/hr is quite high, so ensure any alternative matches this if you need strong performance. Look for other filterless designs with auto-clean features and oil collection trays for comparable ease of maintenance.

Also, compare the warranty periods. Elica's 15-year motor warranty is quite generous, so check if competing brands offer similar coverage. Finally, consider the control type; if you like the touch and motion sensor, ensure alternatives offer similar modern controls.

Currently, we don't have real alternatives available for direct comparison in our database at this price point and feature set, but these are the specs you should keep an eye on when browsing other brands.

Check before you buy

• Installation Type: This is a wall-mounted T-shape chimney. Ensure you have suitable wall space and a power outlet nearby.
• Ducting vs. Ductless: Decide if you will go for ducted installation (more efficient) or ductless (requires a charcoal filter, sold separately). Plan accordingly.
• Kitchen Size & Stove: Confirm the 60cm size is appropriate for your kitchen layout and your 2-4 burner stove.
• After-sales Service: Check recent customer reviews for Elica's after-sales service in your specific location, especially for installation and warranty claims.
• Noise Level: While 58 dB is stated, look for recent buyer reviews to understand the real-world noise experience during operation, especially at higher speeds.
• Power Requirement: The chimney needs a 220 Volts power supply. Ensure your kitchen wiring is compatible.
