In the Indian context, the inclusion of 5G cellular and Wi-Fi 6E is quite helpful for those who work from cafes or travel frequently. The 512GB storage is sufficient for most users to store local files, photos, and apps without worrying about cloud dependency. The M3 chip is the core of this device, meant for tasks that require more than basic web browsing, such as editing photos or managing multiple overlapping windows via iPadOS.
The 13-inch Liquid Retina display uses P3 wide colour and True Tone technology. While these specs indicate good colour accuracy, you should check real-world screen brightness performance in direct sunlight if you plan to use it outdoors often. The 0.62 kg weight is significant for a tablet, so ensure you have a stable stand or keyboard if you intend to type for long periods.

With an average price of Rs. 112,400 over our four data points, paying Rs. 104,900 looks like a fair entry point for this configuration. Who should use this device?
This iPad Air suits professionals who rely on iPadOS for document scanning, video calls using the 12MP Center Stage camera, and light creative work. The support for Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard suggests this is intended to replace a traditional laptop for many users. However, if your work strictly requires desktop-class software not found on iPadOS, this hardware might still feel limiting despite the M3 performance.
Alternatives to consider
Since this is a 2025 model, there are no direct alternatives in our current database. When shopping, compare it against tablets with similar screen sizes or those that offer comparable chip performance. Focus on whether you truly need the M3 chip or if a smaller, older, or lower-spec model would suffice for your specific daily usage.

- Confirm the warranty claim process for Apple devices in your city.
Final purchase advice
If you have been waiting for a price drop, today's Rs. 104,900 tag is the best we have seen. This is a capable machine for those who understand the limitations of iPadOS and want the large-format display for multitasking.
Before confirming, ensure the 13-inch size fits your bag and workspace. It is a substantial device that requires proper support, so think about the total cost including the necessary keyboard and pencil.
